Bill Purk is CFO and Founding Shareholder of Purk & Associates, P.C. Bill provides tax advice and business consulting for closely held business clients and their owners. With nearly thirty years of experience as a tax and financial professional, Bill has the knowledge and skill to ensure accuracy and results, as well as the understanding that it is about achieving the clients’ objectives. Bill also has years of experience as an Internal Revenue Service examiner, providing him with invaluable insight into negotiating with taxing authorities. Prior to founding Purk & Associates, Bill, as a founding shareholder, spent twenty-five years growing the ninth-largest CPA firm in the region.

As an entrepreneur, Bill has the passion and insight to consult on matters well beyond accounting. He has a proven track record of successful real-world results in areas of business development, mergers, acquisitions and succession. Bill also works with business owners and high-net-worth clients to implement wealth protection and transfer strategies.

Bill is a graduate of the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a degree in Business Administration. He is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also active in several community and civic organizations in the St. Louis area.
